Dr. G and the Believers is a group of seasoned musicians that has been entertaining audiences across New England with their selection of hip-shakin' blues and blues-infused tunes. It's a blues dance party with our selection of high energy, dance-able tunes that will keep the crowd jumping! Influences include Junior Wells, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Robert Cray and others. The group consists of Bob Garofalo on lead vocals and harmonica, Shawn Allen on bass, Raynor Roberts on guitar and vocals, and Steve Smiegel on drums. We are fortunate to have Joel Caputo on sax and other guests depending on the night. This is music to cure what ails you!
